1.Remove earwax or other secretions from the ear canal
Remove the cerumen (earwax), pus, blood or residual irrigating fluid from the external auditory canal, and keep the canal clean
It is applicable for scenarios such as postoperative care after drainage of otitis externa and otitis media, and for treatment of bleeding from external ear injuries.
2.Auxiliary Diagnosis and Treatment:
Provide a clear field of vision for endoscopic ear examination (clearing secretions or blood clots that obstruct the view)
In combination with ear irrigation or drug treatment, it assists in eliminating infectious substances or residual drugs.
3.Prevention of Complications:
Prevent the secretion from blocking the ear canal and causing hearing loss or secondary infection
Remove exudate in time after the operation to reduce the risk of infection during the healing period.
4.Infection control
The one-time use design eliminates the risk of cross-infection caused by repeated use, which complies with the requirements of infection prevention and control in hospitals.
Otolaryngology Outpatient Department: Treating otitis externa, cerumen impaction, and post-operative care of the ear.
Emergency Department: Cleaning post-traumatic ear bleeding or contaminated secretions after foreign objects enter the ear canal.
Operating Room: Real-time suction during ear surgeries (such as tympanic membrane repair and mastoidectomy).
